• Chicago Section wins two ChemLuminaries at the Philadelphia National ACS Meeting!

      "ACS President's Award for Government Affairs" (Public Affiars Cmte Co-Chair Mike Koehler, R image, ctr)

    • Congratulations to the 2016 ACS Fellows from the Chicago Section! These awards recognize members of ACS for outstanding achievements in and contributions to science, the profession, and the Society.

    • Northwestern Prof. and Chicago Section ACS Luminary Tobin Marks wins the 2017 Priestley Medal for “pioneering research in catalytic polymerization, organometallic chemistry, organic opto-electronic materials, and electronically functional metal oxides.”

    • The Chicago ACS awards over $15,000 in scholarships every year to high schoolers. This year's First Place recipient was given awards by both Chicago ACS (Chair Inessa Miller, left) and the Chicago Chemists' Club (Judy Reuter, shown), which recognizes the top-scoring student from the city of Chicago

    • Prof. Laura Kiessling (UW-Madison) has been named the 105th Willard Gibbs Medalist!
